Episode 4 is the fourth episode of Get Ungrounded Trivia.
Plot[]
Caillou arrives to alert Boris that there has been a change in plans. He tells Boris that all of the contestants for the day will be parents instead of their kids, and he will be the replacement host. Boris reluctantly agrees to conform, and upon this, Caillou introduces the contestants. The contestants are:
The game begins with Caillou reading out the first question:
Question 1: Caillou asks about the capital city of Canada. Boris buzzes in first and confidently answers, "Ottawa." His answer is correct, and Boris earns 10 points.
Question 2: Caillou asks about the largest planet in our solar system. Elmo's mom buzzes in and answers, "Jupiter!" Her answer is correct, and she earns 10 points.
Question 3: Caillou asks about the famous painting "Starry Night." Cookie Monster's dad buzzes in and confidently replies, "Van Gogh!" His answer is correct, and he earns 10 points.
The competition continues with various questions covering a range of topics. Each contestant buzzes in to answer, and Caillou keeps track of the scores.
Throughout the episode, Boris finds it challenging to adjust to the role of a contestant, as he is used to being the host. He occasionally interjects with humorous comments and tries to maintain his composure.
As the game progresses, the tension rises, and the scores become closer. The contestants showcase their knowledge and engage in friendly banter. The questions cover a variety of subjects, including history, science, pop culture, and more.
In the final round, the scores are as follows:
- Boris: 50 points
- Elmo's Mom: 45 points
- Cookie Monster's Dad: 55 points
The episode concludes with Cookie Monster's dad emerging as the winner, narrowly beating Boris. Caillou congratulates the contestants for their participation and thanks the audience for watching the unique "kid host, adult contestants" style of episode.
Trivia[]
- This is the first time in the GUT franchise to have the “kid host, adult contestants” style of episode, a lesser known YouTuber AmazingAmirAnimations does a similar thing with one of his videos.
- However, adult contestants became more common in later episodes, though most of them are either single or have no children.
