Episode 3 is the third episode of Get Ungrounded Trivia.
Plot[]
Boris introduces the contestants to the audience. The contestants are:
- Elmo (Boris reminds the audience that this is Elmo's second time competing, as he had previously participated in Episode 1.)
- Bubsy
- Giant tomato
Question 1: Boris reads the first question, and it's about identifying the capital city of France. Elmo buzzes in and confidently answers, "Cookie!" Boris reminds Elmo that he needs to provide the correct answer and not just say "cookie" for every question. Elmo realizes his mistake and corrects himself, answering "Paris." His answer is correct, and Elmo gets ungrounded for 5 years
Question 2: Boris asks the contestants to name the largest ocean on Earth. Bubsy buzzes in and confidently replies, "The Atlantic Ocean!" Unfortunately, his answer is incorrect, and Bubsy gets grounded for 15 years. Elmo and Giant Tomato do not buzz in, so Boris reveals the correct answer to be the "Pacific Ocean" and moves on to the next question.
Question 3: The question is about identifying the famous scientist who developed the theory of relativity. Elmo buzzes in first and shouts, "Einstein!" His answer is correct, and Elmo is ungrounded for 20 years.
Question 4: Boris asks the contestants to name the largest planet in our solar system. Giant Tomato buzzes in, eager to answer, but instead of saying the name of a planet, Giant Tomato emits a loud squelching noise. Boris looks puzzled, but since Giant Tomato did not provide a valid answer, he remains grounded.
Question 5: The question is about the famous painting "Mona Lisa." Bubsy buzzes in and confidently declares, "The Scream!" Boris chuckles and informs Bubsy that his answer is incorrect. Bubsy gets grounded for 10 years. Elmo does not buzz in, so Boris reveals the correct answer to be the "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci.
Question 6: Boris asks the contestants to name the largest desert in the world. Elmo buzzes in and confidently answers, "The Sahara Desert!" His answer is correct, and Elmo is ungrounded for 15 years.
Question 7: The question is about the musical genre known for its origins in Jamaica. Bubsy buzzes in and confidently replies, "Country music!" Boris shakes his head, and Bubsy gets grounded for 10 years. Elmo and Giant Tomato do not buzz in, so Boris reveals the correct answer to be "Reggae."
Question 8: The final question is about the tallest mountain in the world. Elmo buzzes in and excitedly exclaims, "Mount Everest!" His answer is correct, and Elmo is ungrounded for 20 years.
At the end of the episode, Boris reveals the final scores. Elmo has a score of -5 (after being ungrounded multiple times), Bubsy has a score of -25 (with grounding penalties), and Giant Tomato remains grounded throughout the episode.
The episode concludes with Boris thanking the contestants and the audience for participating and teasing the next episode of the web series.
