Episode 1 is the first episode of Get Ungrounded Trivia.
Plot[]
Boris introduces the contestants to the audience. The contestants are:
Boris then starts to explain the rules. The contestants must answer questions correctly to get ungrounded, but for each question they get wrong, they will get grounded.
The first question begins.
1. What is 1+1?
Elmo is the first to buzz in. His answer is 7, which is wrong, so he gets grounded for five years. Caillou buzzes in next, and he says the answer is 2. This answer is right, so he then gets ungrounded for five years.
2. Where was pineapple pizza invented?
Elmo buzzes in, and his answer is Disneyland, which is wrong, so he gets grounded for ten years. Thumbs Up Guy then buzzes in, and he says the answer is Canada. This is right, so Thumbs Up Guy gets ungrounded for ten years.
3. Intergrate 12+csc(x)(sin(x)+csc(x)) dx.
Elmo buzzes in, and he says, "Baked potato covered with cheese and served with broccoli". This is wrong, so he gets grounded for 100 years. Time runs out before anybody else can answer the question, so Boris reveals the correct answer to be 13x-cot(x)+c.
4. Which side won the American Civil War?
Elmo buzzes in, and he says it was the Miami Dolphins, which is wrong. Boris reminds Elmo that the correct answer is either the Union or the Confederacy. Due to answering the question wrong, Elmo gets grounded for 50 years. Caillou buzzes in, and he says, "Confederacy". This is wrong, so he gets grounded for 50 years. Thumbs Up Guy buzzes in and answers "Union", which is right, so he gets ungrounded for 50 years.
5. Who is this? (Accompanied by a picture of Jay Jay the Jet Plane)
Elmo answers "George Washington Carver" without buzzing in. After being reminded that he needs to buzz in in order for his answer to count, he immediately does so and repeats his answer. His answer is incorrect, so he is grounded for 5 years. Caillou buzzes in and says, "Jay Jay the Jet Plane", which is right, so he gets ungrounded for 5 years.
6. Who is the main character in Tales of Symphonia?
Elmo buzzes in and answers "Dante from the Devil May Cry series". This is wrong, so he is grounded for 10 years. Caillou buzzes in and says, "Lloyd Irving", which is right, so he gets ungrounded for 10 years.
7. What voice is commonly used for Boris in Goanimate?
Elmo buzzes in and says, "Ivy". This is wrong, so he is grounded for 20 years. Thumbs Up Guy buzzes in and says, "Eric", which is right. He gets ungrounded for 20 years.
After a quick commercial break, the next question begins.
8. What does DNA stand for?
Elmo buzzes in and says, "Dummies Nut All over". This is wrong, so he is grounded for 300 years. Thumbs Up Guy buzzes in and says, "Deoxyribonucleic Acid". This is right, so he is ungrounded for 300 years.
9. Will Elmo get this question right?
Elmo buzzes in, and he says "No". Initially, this is the right answer, but then Boris begins arguing with himself about whether Elmo should be grounded or ungrounded due to the paradoxical nature of his answer. This continues for 3 hours before Elmo gets so tired, he changes his answer to "frozen Lunchables". This is wrong, so he is grounded for 50 years. Boris moves on to the next question before Caillou or Thumbs Up Guy can answer.
10. When was Windows 1.0 introduced?
Elmo buzzes in and says, "1776", which is wrong. As a result, he is grounded for 200 years. Caillou buzzes in and says, "1940". This is wrong, so he is also grounded for 200 years. Thumbs Up Guy buzzes in and says, "1992". This is wrong, so he is also grounded for 200 years. Since nobody got the answer right, Boris reveals the correct answer to be 1985.
11. What year did the United States become independent?
Elmo buzzes in and says, "1985". This is wrong, so he is grounded for 50 years. Thumbs Up Guy buzzes in, and he says, "1776". This is right, so he is ungrounded for 50 years.
12. What planet do Humans live on?
Elmo buzzes in and says, "Earth", which is right. He gets ungrounded for 1 year, which he complains is unfair.
13. What year did Colonel Sanders die?
Elmo buzzes in and says "2043". This is wrong, so he is grounded for 1000 years. Thumbs Up Guy buzzes in and says, "1980". This is right, so he is ungrounded for 1000 years.
14. Should you subscribe to Pappy Animate 2012?
Thumbs Up Guy buzzes in and says, "No." This is very wrong, so Thumbs Up Guy is grounded for 9789631928536159817 years.
